A DEFINITION OF WORSHIP
I've just started a book called Teaching Kids Authentic Worship by Kathleen Chapman. In the Introduction she asks her readers to write down our definition of worship and place it in the back of the book, not looking at it again until we've finished reading. I usually ignore these kind of instructions, but for once decided to comply, and this is what I came up with, for better or for worse:Worship is a personal, truthful and deep-spirited response to the revelation of God's glory, power and character, not limited in expression or by circumstances but lived out every moment of every day of our lives, both here on earth and soon in Glory.
